TV Series

Firefly, which was written by Jos Wheden, the writer of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dr. Horrible's Sing along Blog. The show mixes American Western with Science Fiction very elegantly. One of the key elements of this show is that it takes place in the future several hundred years and the future it pertrays can be very closely related to things that are happening in today's time. The show finds it's roots in a more social, cultrual and somewhat political way than many Science Fictions. The character interaction is Firefly's main bonding aspect and has been enjoyed by a host of people who generally don't watch Science Fiction.
