I just read the Farscape short story Horizons written by Rockne S. O'Bannon, the writer of the Farscape TV and Comic Series. While reading this I was interested in comparing it to the actual end of the series. Horizons was released in May 2003 and the current comic series just ended in or around November 2011. I don't want to spoil the ending of the comics but Horizons was an un-cannon ending to the Farscape series taking place in the year 2281, the comic series is the same way, taking place in the far future, I don't remember the exact date, but I'll fill that in here when I get back to my comics. There are some conflicts but they are actually pretty in-sync with each other for being so far apart. If you've read both, please post your comments below and I'll let you know what I thought. The ending of the comic series was somewhat unexpected but still interesting. It felt like something I would do, I wasn't expecting the story to take the turn it did.
