Last weekend I took part in the filming of a Firefly Fan Fiction to be entered in the 29 Days Later film competition. I was there just as someone to help out and setup some things. This short Fan Fiction was written by Cliff, a partner/founder of PA Films. Through this process of driving an hour and a half, eight hours of unpacking, setting up, getting ready, and filming multiple takes, we were left with what we think will be a 7-10 minute film and a lot of good experiences. I met a few very interesting people, among whom was David Grimes who played Mal. The film is expected to be ready by August 11th and if I have permission I will post it here on Madtast.
